I understand that you've wireless connectivity issue on your printer. Hoping this is just something small or silly I am overlooking, open to suggestions on what to check, adjust or try I am stumped at this point and can't print from the primary computer which is for reaching out to the forums! I poked around in the menus but didn't change anything I just didn't see anything that I could adjust or change really and didn't want to start messing around in there and mess something else up. Kinda stumped as I have never had problems with just using the install disc and within 4-5 mins all up and running, at the same time as I upgraded this computer I also added that asus ac88u router, I signed into the router and altho all my computers show this printer as connected and I can print from them all, it don't see it in the connected devices under 2.4ghz wifi devices like i do my roku iphones etc. I went in and shut down my firewall and antivirus (avast), I restarted the modem, router (asus ac88U), I even went thru the whole wireless setup again manually choosing my wifi and entering the code, shows successful and confirmed does still print from the other computers in the house, just not this new primary pc. I joined the homegroup, can access everything on all computers, network links all work, installed drivers from the hp disc and at the point where it searches network to add the printer it says printer not found, it asks me to check the wireless status of the printer and enter the ip address manually, It shows connected to our wifi 2.4 access and it does print from the other computers in house fine, yet after entering that info in setup it still searches network and says unable to find printer. My primary livingroom pc hard drive died so I upgraded that computer recently, this is where the problem started. I have a photosmart 5514 wireless printer connected to my home network of 4 different computers, the printer is connected to the homegroup and 3 of the computers print fine to it.
